Privacy

Form stores your photo and weight journal on your iPhone. The developer does not receive your journal.

Your journal

Dates, weights, notes, progress photos and smaller photo previews are stored in the app’s database and files on your device. Form has no account, advertising, analytics or tracking, and does not upload journal content to a developer-operated server. It does not use HealthKit or analyse your photos with a hosted AI service.

Camera, photos and files

Camera access is used only when you choose to take a progress photo. The system Photos picker shares only the images you select. Form stores its own copies; deleting a journal photo does not delete its original from Photos. Backup import reads the ZIP file you choose in Files and restores its journal content on the device.

Device lock and reminders

The optional privacy lock uses Apple’s device authentication, including Face ID or your passcode. Form receives the authentication result, not your biometric data or passcode. Optional reminders are scheduled locally on your iPhone and can be disabled in Settings.

Purchases

Apple processes the free trial and one-time unlock. Form verifies Apple transaction information to determine access and the trial’s original start time. The developer does not receive your card details or Apple Account credentials.

Backups and sharing

Apple device backups, including iCloud Backup if enabled, may include Form data under your device’s backup settings. Form does not provide its own cloud sync. CSV, ZIP and comparison-image exports go to the destination you select using the system share sheet. Those destinations may store copies under their own privacy policies.

Deleting data

You can delete individual entries in History, or use Settings → Delete all entries and photos. Deleting the app removes its local data. These actions do not remove your original Photos images, previous exports, Apple purchase records or copies in existing device backups. Manage those copies with their respective services.

Support

If you email support, the address, message and any attachments you choose to send are used to answer your request. You do not need to send your journal or progress photos to get help. Contact support@simpleappsdev.com.
